We take part in Globe at Night

On the 23rd November 2016 a group of 34 students and 4 teachers took part in Globe at Night programme, which aims at investigating light pollution of the night sky.
Globe at Night aims at raising awareness about the influence of light pollution. The programme is open to all people, who want to help scientists and measure the night sky with their smartphones. As a result, a map of light pollution is created. So far, over 100 000 measurements in 115 countries were made durign the last 9 years.
The students and teachers measured the sky using their smartphones and Sky Quality Meter-L devices, learnt about objects in the sky and took a lot of photographs.
